Despite our efforts, no transmission or storage system is 100% secure. You use the Services at your own risk.
4. Sharing of Information
We may share your information only with:
Tax authorities (IRS and state) to file your returns
Protection Plus for Audit Defense™ and identity restoration
Service providers who support platform operations
Legal or governmental entities, when required by law
We never share information for marketing purposes.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the LEAF Taxes website, platform, and related Services. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
The Services are available only to law enforcement, firefighters, and teachers, and to individuals legally permitted to file tax returns in the United States.
2. No Tax, Legal, or Financial Advice
LEAF Taxes, LLC does not provide tax advice, legal advice, or accounting services.
The software is self-service. If you need personalized advice, consult a licensed tax professional.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information
Review your return for accuracy
Ensure your filings comply with applicable laws
Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. License to Use the Software
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software solely for preparing and filing your personal tax return.
5. Fees
The Services are offered for a flat $75 fee, regardless of the number of forms or states included. Fees are non-refundable once the return is submitted.
6. Audit Defense & ID Protection
Each completed tax return includes $1,000,000 Tax Audit Defense™ and Identity Theft Restoration provided through Protection Plus. You must contact Protection Plus directly to use these services.
7. Prohibited Uses
You may not:
Reverse-engineer or modify the software
Use the Services for commercial purposes
Access the platform attempting to breach security
Misrepresent your eligibility
8. Intellectual Property
All software, content, trademarks, and materials are owned by LEAF Taxes, LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no warranties regarding:
Accuracy or completeness of tax calculations
Timeliness or success of tax filings
Error-free or uninterrupted access
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LEAF Taxes, LLC is not liable for:
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Errors arising from incorrect user input
Delays or failures caused by tax authorities or third parties
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Services.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms or engaging in fraudulent or abusive behavior.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which LEAF Taxes, LLC is registered.

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a binding contract between you (“User”) and LEAF Taxes, LLC governing your use of the LEAF Taxes software and related Services.
1. License Grant
LEAF Taxes, LLC grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
Access and use the software
Prepare and file your personal tax return
Use included features such as audit defense and ID restoration
This license does not allow you to sublicense or share access.
2. Ownership
The software and all associated intellectual property are owned by LEAF Taxes, LLC or its licensors. This Agreement does not transfer ownership rights.
3. Restrictions
You may NOT:
Modify, copy, or distribute the software
Reverse-engineer or decompile the code
Use the software for commercial, multi-user, or paid preparation services
Circumvent security or license protections
4. User Obligations
You must:
Provide accurate and lawful information
Maintain account security
Use the software only as permitted
5. Updates
LEAF Taxes, LLC may provide updates, bug fixes, or improvements. These are covered under this Agreement unless otherwise specified.
6. Third-Party Services
Features such as Tax Audit Defense™ and Identity Restoration are provided by independent third parties (e.g., Protection Plus) and may have their own terms.
7. Warranty Disclaimer
The software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or error-free operation.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LEAF Taxes, LLC is not liable for:
Lost profits
Data loss
Errors resulting from user input
System failures or service interruptions
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Services.
9. Termination
This Agreement terminates automatically if you:
Violate its terms
Attempt to misuse or tamper with the software
Engage in fraudulent filing activities
Upon termination, you must cease all use of the software.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by U.S. law and the laws of the state where LEAF Taxes, LLC is registered.
